This is a reproduction of an ancient Hawaiian weapon Lima Lei-o-mano or Knuckle Duster with swordfish bill. Hawaiian warriors used this weapon for thrusting and slashing at close combat with enemies. The swordfish bill provided a deep incisive entry into the enemy’s body while the sharks teeth would tear the flesh and intestines. Highly effective. Painful. Debilitating. This knuckle duster with sharks teeth was made in traditional Hawaiian methods by a master craftsman on the North Shore of Oahu Hawaii. The craftsmen of Martin & MacArthur framed this weapon in solid Koa with velvet lining.
