American ceramic craftsman Bonnie Belt fell in love with pottery in the 4th grade in California. Her studies under master Chinese brush painter Ning Yeh greatly influenced her ceramic style.
Bonnie is inspired by the beliefs of the American Arts & Crafts movement to create harmony with Nature and a sense of peace.
Bonnie rolls clay over actual tree bark to get the true natural textures she manipulates into trees and branches. She uses a "smoke firing" technique similar to raku.
Proudly made in America.
