Oahu artist Ruben Aira has had a passion for surfing the North Shore waves all his life. Today, Ruben’s passion inspires him to carve exquisite sculptures from what’s inside the fiberglass shell of a surfboard.
Ruben deftly carves his sculptures with the fluid lines and contours of Old World masters. He then hand-paints each sculpture with colors chosen to highlight his love for Hawaii.
Each of Ruben’s limited edition sculptures is hand-painted and enhanced individually, ensuring a one-of-a-kind work of art.
