This authentic wooden surfboard was made by the master shaper Lon Klein and his skilled team at the Haleiwa Surfboard Company on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii. Lon selected beautiful Koa wood and other exotic hardwoods to create a beautiful pattern on the deck of this surfboard. Lon chose to use the classic Dick Brewer design for this foam-core surfboard.
This Koa surfboard took 200 man hours for Lon and his team to complete. These expert artisans elevate the fine art of crafting wooden surfboards, incorporating techniques utilized in airplane wings, stringed musical instruments, and wooden boats.
This is masterpiece in design and composition. You will never see another surfboard quite like this one. The craftsmen will never make one identical to this. This Koa surfboard is truly one-of-a-kind.
