Hawaiian kapa patterns of adjoining triangles inspired Martin & MacArthur craftsmen to design this new collection of Koa jewelry. Symbols of Niho Mano, or shark teeth, were often used by early Hawaiians in patterns for tattoos, carvings and pounded bark Kapa cloth. This pendant is made with our private stock of Koa harvested from previously fallen trees on the Big Island. Four interlocking triangles symbolize the land, sea, sky and man’s place in the vast universe. Available with matching earrings.
