This is a reproduction of an ancient Hawaiian "Lei-O-Mano" or weapon with shark's teeth. Hawaiian warriors would often use Lei-O-Mano for slashing enemies in close combat. This Lei-O-Mano with shark's teeth was made using traditional Hawaiian methods. Each shark tooth is double stitched to the Koa base for strength in combat. This weapon was crafted by master carvers on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii. The craftsmen of Martin and MacArthur framed this weapon in solid Koa with linen lining.
